Dr Ronald M. Bradfield brings a wealth of technical, business and academic know-how to his core faculty position in Iclif’s Scenario Thinking and Business Innovation programme. Formerly a senior executive in multinationals in Canada, the US and the UK, Ron shifted his energies to consulting where he drove scenario/strategy projects in an array of private and public sector organisations across the globe in diverse sectors.

A founding member of the Centre for Scenario Planning & Future Studies at the University of Strathclyde Business School, Ron teaches at SBS’ campuses in the UAE, with concurrent responsibility for the management of the School’s postgraduate programmes in the Gulf.

Ron is a professional member of the World Futures Society and the Futurists Network; he has published articles on scenarios in international scholarly and practitioner journals, contributed chapters in books, and is the author of “Scenario Success Criteria: The Fundamentals of Effective Scenarios” (LAP, 2014), and a co-author of “The Sixth Sense: Accelerating Organisational Learning with Scenarios” (Wiley, 2002).
